History How we got where we are

 

Pro Coat, Inc. is owned and operated by David Marion, a painting contractor whose family has been serving the Chicago area since 1922. David Marion himself has been catering clients since 1972 (that's over 35 years!). He oversees all aspects of each project from start to finish - by keeping his company smaller, he can devote his time to the customer service that he values.

 

• David started out being trained by his uncle's family business, working within the North Shore and Gold Coast areas, where he developed the skills and values necessary to perform exceptional work in the trade.

 

• He eventually ventured forward and started a supply company, where he displayed his ability to distinguish a good product from a bad one. Quality stains and paint were provided to other companies in the industry.

 

• This soon developed into the company that we now know today, Pro Coat, Inc. where David and his professional staff perform the maintenance services. The entire Pro Coat crew is personally trained by David and carries the old world craftsmanship of his family.
